I do not think they ever considered that. Towards the end years for sure they were down to 90 minutes per set and 1 encore.Most places have curfews ex. PNC ARTS CENTER and many more ,the days of going till 3-4 in the morning are a thing of the past and more than likely never to be repeated by anyone.

while not all-that-common as compared to the 'good ol' daze', rest assured the almost all-nighters into the wee hours do still occur, but certainly not in any venue even remotely corporate; look to the non-descript "spaces" and barely-advertised "venues", at which you'll likely pay just a token entrance fee ($5 or less) and often get some quite exciting live music, but nothing you'll ever hear on AM/FM or satellite radio that's for sure, thankfully

I wonder if anyone here has ever played a set more than 45 minutes? From personal experience it is very draining as a drummer, and then fans want another set @90 mins!!! That's very hard work, these guys played their asses off no matter what year, 65-95, come on
